Six steps, and we walk you through every one

Joining eXp Realty follows a defined process, and it moves fast once your paperwork is in order. Freedom Partners Group sponsors you in and stays with you through each step — so nothing gets missed and nothing sits waiting on a form.

The process

What actually happens, step by step

Six steps from application to activation.

1. Join application

Submitted at joinapp.exprealty.com — the name and license must match your state license exactly.

2. License verification

An eXp Onboarding Analyst confirms your name and license number against your state's commission website.

3. Paperwork

You complete your Independent Contractor Agreement, W-9, and Direct Deposit form — the last four digits of your tax ID must match on both.

4. Activation

Once your license transfer clears, your account activates and a $149 join fee is charged within 24–48 hours.
